Seems like there over booked been here longer than i wanted too. Lol
This was the best hospital in Lansing, now the care is minimal, the nurses are not happy, the food is horrible. They have out sourced their food, and it is disgusting, my mother just spent a week there, breakfast did not come until after 9 and sometimes not until 10, by the time it arrived it was cold, and most times not even what was ordered, she even received raw eggs, dinner never arrived before 6 and was cold, and soggy by the time it arrived, salads with no dressing, no milk even though ordered. This had to be the worst stay she ever experienced. The floors are filthy, I spilled something in the ER, and when I wiped it up the paper towel came away filthy. The CEO makes millions while cutting staff and services, and refusing to pay the support staff decent wages. Overtime is plenty because they do not want to staff the hospital with enough workers. This hospital when it was a non profit, took care of it's employees and offered excellent care to the patients. The last 3 or 4 times my mother has stayed here she has experienced the same thing. Sadly we have been told that Sparrow is the same way. We have the most expensive health care system in the world and yet the worst patient care. I pray I do not experience the problems my mother has when I reach my 80's.

I had both hips replaced the summer of 2015! Hands down the best care in the nation! Polite - caring - professional (if not beyond) an awesome experience. I highly recommend this hospital and its staff. Please, feel free to IGNORE any negative comments - you get out of it what you are willing to put into it regarding a hospital stay - the CARE is the most valueable! TRUTH! :o)
