Just about everything is hands-on.

Amazing opportunities for kids of all ages, including adult-aged kids! A variety of games and activities expose kids to science in a fun way with a range of learning methods. Tremendously impressed and quite happy we purchased a membership.

It's a good local place if you're looking for somewhere to keep your kids happy for a couple of hours every week.

They've got some pretty cool exhibits that I want to try as well, and my wife keeps reminding me we're there for our daughter.

Its no world-class museum, but they're not charging you like one either. A lot of the exhibits feel like things you can try at home, which is actually pretty cool for a parent.

I have good memories of coming here as a kid, and now that I have one of my own, I love bringing her here. We have a year membership, which pays for itself quickly. It seems every couple of months she's a little older and appreciates a little more.

I have attended i5 when I was a kid, and now I take my 1.5 year old son about 1-3 times per month. The places changes so much all the time and they are always adding. If you can, I suggest getting a membership there so that you don't have to worry about the entrance fee and also it helps support one of the best educational/fun centers in Lansing! :)

We love Impression 5. There's always a new exhibit, it's clean, staff is friendly. The only drawbacks are parking can be tough when school's out and there are no public bathrooms on the first floor. Sometimes little folks can't make it to the second floor! Otherwise a wonderful place...become members!

Wonderful place to bring the study of science into your child's life. My 4 yr old grandson loves coming and tries different things each time. Such a variety. A family membership is a great price and can be given as a holiday gift . There's a 4 and under playroom that had so many different activities. Many things for older children are also doable by the younger kids. Special events come to the museum for a few weeks. It's Clifford the dog now. There's also classes that are age appropriate but cost extra (reasonably priced). I would rank a 5 if there was a turnover of new activities a little more often especially for those of preschool age. Also a better vending area with some nutritional snacks. Great place and usually spend 3 hours there at least.
