My dad always went to Hidy's, now I do too. While they might not have the slick appearance of a chain auto shop, I'd rather go where I know them and they know me. Bob does fast, honest, good work. The rest of the staff is the same. I'll definitely keep going back to Hidy's.
Rating would be zero if that were possible. This place is filthy - reeks of cigarette smoke, parking area filled with old/junk vehicles, trash dumpster filled to overflowing with garbage on the ground. They gave me an estimate on repairs but I decided to go somewhere else, wasn't comfortable having auto work done by a shop in total disrepair and in violation of state law requiring workplaces to be smoke-free. The mechanic actually walked through the waiting room twice with his lit cigarette. They charged me $80 anyway and I left with a car still in need of repair. Would have been 3% more if I had paid with a credit card. Really?!
