I've been to this shop several times. Staff is friendly, not pushy, but tells you what you need to know. Prices are inline with other shops in the area if not slightly lower. Seem to be an honest bunch of guys and can usually fit me in immediately. This Tuffy has been my go-to shop for all my repairs lately.
Had really great service, mechanic worked hard to find the best solution, without breaking the bank. Didn't push extra, unnecessary services and didn't treat me like a moron.
I was on my way to work the other day in Lansing and my tire was low, I was scheduled all day so I was trying to find a gas station with an air hose and couldn't find one, or they were broke so I called Tuffy Muffler and the guys said if you have a few minutes before you start work I'll fill it for you. Now I know air in a tire takes two seconds but that's not was this guys business was and he gratuitously did this for me anyway wit absolutely no charge what so ever, so THANK YOU TUFFY MUFFLER! Terrific experience at Tuffy West Saginaw store, primarily from the thorough explanation of the repair needs of my vehicle. Dale (the manager) walked me thru the priorities -- what definitely needs to get fixed now (so i know it is safe to drive) and what I can hold off for awhile. I felt like he truly cared, and was sensitive to what I could afford to pay at the time.
