Although I don't live in EL anymore I still drive across the state to work with Sam. Every year he sets stones for my two young daughter's tennis bracelets which i will give to them when they graduate from MSU!
I have been going to Medawar Frandor to see Sam Medawar for almost 20 years. They always have the finest quality at fair prices. My first experience was just after college to have Sam make a custom engagement ring for my wife. Must have been a fine job because we are still married and she now dons a wedding band and anniversary bands from Sam as well.
A few years back a was having trouble with my beloved Omega watch. After three attempts by Omega to repair it and lots of cost and frustration I turned to Sam who fixed the problem the first time and my watch has been ticking away without trouble ever since.
All I have is compliments for the extraordinary service that was exhibited to our needs for wedding rings. We were treated with the upmost courtesy; and our situation that actually occurred quite spontaneously; was handled very expeditiously and smoothly. This along with the crunch of the Christmas holiday period;: we were uncertain we would be able to get it done. We did, and everything worked out great. Thank you Medawar Jewelers. Staff was extremely rude. Showed us the "50% off" rings as if we could not afford to shop for an engagement ring. We requested to look at additional rings and the elderly woman waiting on us went into the back and never returned. Went to Wheat Jewelers in Okemos instead and received exemplary service. They also custom made a ring for me. Highly recommend Kevin Wheat. He does excellent work and completes it in a timely manner.
