The couch is nice, but I would not for all the pretty blue couches in the world deal with this company again.
Horrible Service! I purchased a couch from La-Z-Boy in Lansing. They charged me (via the financing company) for two couches instead of one. After a few phone calls where they assured me I would need to deal with the financing company, they finally admitted the error was made at the store level. They did apologize, which would caused me to leave a rating of three.
However, after a month and dealing with the fraud department and such, I realized I was now being charged interest. This was despite having signed for interest free for one year financing.
The financing company eventually ironed out the discrepancy, which surprise surprise was again the fault of the local store as they charged me incorrectly when attempting to correct their first error.
I contacted the store again. The manager said there finance person was excellent and she doubted she made a mistake, but that person had also been working with no time off for so long that she had to be given several days off, but she would have her give me a call when she returned. The manager assured me this was "not her fault" as she was new. I am not sure how any of this information was supposed to help me "the customer." Needless to say they never called me back and several attempts at contacting the store just resulted in a busy signal. Which is odd in the day of call waiting, but I guess if you don't answer the phone you don't have to take responsibility for your errors.
I bought a sofa set from here. I feel it is expensive, but quality is very poor for the price i paid. I found a peace of nail coming out of the sofa. It never gave me a feeling that i got the quality product. Sorry.
I will never buy from them again. I bought a reclining loveseat and when it was delivered it was so hard like sitting on a Rock! No give to it at all and thought maybe it would break in, so I continued to sit on it for about 15 days. No give still and now my spine and neck got locked up, having to go to Chiropractor each week. Called Lazyboy and told them. They told me to call Comfort Care for Tech to come out. They did & agreed it was too hard. I asked for an exchange, they wanted to restuff. I called when no one called back after a few days and was talked to by a Danielle who said "We are not here to make you comfortable, we are here to make the furniture up to manufacture standard.". I told her that this was not what I sat on in store & if you restuff it, and I sit on it and it still is not as comfortable as it was in store, then what? She told me too bad and there are many people who come into the store in Lansing where I purchased this, so of course it's not going to be as comfortable and there is no way they would exchange it for another unit!! Again stating Comfort Care was not there for my comfort!! I will never buy from them again, after spending alot of money there I am beyond disappointed!!!
We paid for shipping. They called us saying we could pick it up... Told them we paid for shipping; they kept just saying they'd have to call us back. This went on for about a week until we told them to refund us for the shipping and we'll just have to come get it. Of course they were totally cool with that option.
