I'm not overly familiar with the Lansing so I can't say a whole lot about how well-located the hotel was. The lobby and rooms were pretty sleek and you can see you're getting what you paid for. The breakfast selection wasn't super big, but what was available (eggs, wafflemaker, sausage, fruit, some other small sides) tasted good. If I had the money available for a decent hotel stay, I'd likely pick this hotel 9 times out of 10.
Very nice hotel. I have stayed numerous times and never had any complaints with anything. Always great service.
This place is pretty nice! The lady at the desk was very friendly. The other lady serving breakfast was also very friendly and even asked how breakfast was (it was great actually). The rooms were big, the beds were comfortable and big screen t.v. was great for watching a movie. The pool is nice but it's a salt water pool. No chlorine taste or other effects but it does taste salty which was kind of gross. Regardless, it was a great stay and I would recommend it.
Terrible front desk service. Showed up at 1:30am in the middle of a snowstorm by Lansing Michigan. Front desk said they could not give us a room because they were doing a night audit...there was plenty of rooms available. Poor service.
Short drive from downtown. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby. Rooms, and amenities were all very clean and well kept. The staff was all courteous and accommodating. I will gladly stay here again. The warm cookies at the front desk are a nice touch as well :)
