Had to visit East Lansing, couldn't find room. Extra 5 minutes and we found this place. Same quality as hotels we normally stay at in e Lansing, but half the price. Clean, good amenities, free hot breakfast, all for $100. Used to paying 225 to 250 per night, so this is a great find. Highly recommend. Update: just stayed again for 2 nights. They have a 2 hour cocktail spread. 2 free drinks with snacks. The drinks are high end, such as margaritas, kamikaze's, etc. Snacks were meatballs, and chips with dips. This chain offers a rewards/point program that is worth joining. You cannot beat the value here.
Really happy with our stay at Quality Suites. Came in for a football game and had a free night. Our room was clean and spacious, perfect for an evening stay. Was happy with the free breakfast (but wasn't able to partake in the social hour). Caught the trail nearby in the morning for a run and the proximity to Horrocks is a bonus, too. Would gladly stay here again if needed!
Room was super clean. I ended up sleeping in late two days in a row because the beds were super comfortable. They have a separate hot air option in the bathroom that blows warm air for when it's cold and the heat doesn't reach the bathroom(nice feature), great customer service. The only issue is that the sofa's were a little stiff and not that great to sit on.
Life savers! In town for a football game and our reserved hotel smelled like cigarettes and when we asked to switch rooms they said no. We called Quality Suites to see if they had openings and they got us a room right away! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming for a visit in Lansing! Very clean room and courteous staff!
Quality suites makes a real effort to be welcoming and homey. It's easy to see the care that the staff put into the comfort of guests. The rooms have a tiny kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave), and the living room can be separated from the bedroom to create a second room with a sleeper sofa. They also had a generous hot breakfast, and a complimentary happy hour with appetizers and drinks. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in town.
